Do nothing out of selfish ambition..." Philippians 2:3

Forgive me for being the one to tell you, but you’re infected. You’re a diseased carrier. You have a case of—brace yourself—selfishness! Don’t believe me? When you look at a group photo, where do you look? And if you look good, do you like the picture? Is it hard for you to share? When a car wants to cut in front of you, do you sense a sudden heaviness of foot on the accelerator? I imagine the most picture taken is the selfie.
The self-centered see everything through the lens of self. Their motto? “It’s all about me!” What’s the cure for selfishness? Get yourself out of your eye by taking your eye off yourself. Quit staring at the little self and focus on your great Savior.
I have a relative that always looks at every (and everyone) that the lens of what's in it for me. How will I profit from the situation? Rather we should think about others before our selves. 'Let each of you not look only for his own interest, but also the interests of others." Philippians 2:4
