Prayer: Not An Option

Have you ever had the unfortunate situation of breaking down along the highway? I have several times and to make matters worse, I didn't have any travel insurance. I've learned from these breakdowns and now have coverage.

We all need protection for life's emergencies. We need a fire extinguisher in our kitchens. We need fire alarms throughout our homes. I have guns in my home to protect us. We have life, car, property, dental, and event travel insurance. We have all these things, but we rarely use them.

And there's one more thing, I have prayer. God designed it to be used daily. But if we are not careful, we will treat it like a AAA card. We have it tucked away in our wallets and only pull it out when we're in bind.

Prayer should not just used in case of emergencies but to daily communicate with our heavenly Father. So, don't use prayer as a spare tire (emergencies) but as a steering wheel for direction.
